Hello to the world from Barcelona!
Since onsite classes at the Eina Design School (UAB) have been temporarily cancelled due to the current health crisis in Spain, Illustration professor Philip Stanton and his undergraduate & graduate students are making a group reportage project, each participant will create (at least) one drawing a day of their current situation and help others benefit from their experiences and talent.
We believe drawing is a way to help us understand the world as it is and as it can be. Drawing is a tool with the power to help us express and understand our emotions and human condition. Drawing can be a call to action, a cry of protest and a plea for love and tolerance, sometimes all at the same time. Through this project we hope to use creativity to fight the COVID-19 virus (and hopefully the boredom of self-quarantine along the way!).
